Altacoro Ltd is a UK-based engineering company focused on offline data processing for UAV operators. We build hardware that turns gigabytes of raw drone images into usable maps directly in the field, with zero internet required.
Our Background
The project is led by Andrei Ulanov, who spent 15 years heading embedded software development for rugged, wearable ARM Linux navigators. Altacoro brings this exact expertise into a new domain.
We apply the proven reliability of off-grid Linux systems to heavy image processing and AI. It is the same core concept — a tough, portable Linux device — but engineered specifically to solve the data bottlenecks of modern drone mapping.
